Bonjour!

Welcome to this website where my French accent, Lebanese blood and Mediterranean appetite guide a bubbly kitchen in the heart of Miami, Florida.

Labneh Garlic Dip

We are all about Labneh* love. We have it for breakfast, snack time, in sandwiches and for dips too! Every menu needs some Labneh help (:
You can serve this creamy white dip as part of a Lebanese mezze** spread or an appetizer with crackers, pita chips and small raw vegetables for some happy dipping! Cucumbers, carrots, cherry tomatoes, radishes,...

The garlicky notes and mint hints make a very classical flavor combination for this Labneh dip. It is a sunny and crowd pleasing Mediterranean dish.

Bon appétit!

*Labneh is basically strained yogurt. You can buy it in some middle eastern stores, or make it at home, by draining the water out of the yogurt. The thicker you like your labneh, the longer you’ll have to drain it. You’ll be able to find a lot of tutorials online…

**mezze: is a selection of small dishes. It is the equivalent of Spanish tapas but on another scale :) A table full of mezze is often the “appetizer step” of a gargantuan traditional Lebanese meal… moderation! Moderation??
